Bolitho Road, Heamoor

Under Wild Design and Development

When a dilapidated former petrol station and car showroom in the middle of a residential area in Heamoor was purchased and planning permission given for a terrace of eight, three storey town houses to be built, Underwild was appointed as principle contractor to undertake the whole project.

A challenging development standing alongside terraced houses in the middle of a small village. Before any building work could begin, the existing premises had to be demolished and the underground petrol tanks, carefully excavated and removed.

Throughout the development – to build these modern timber frame energy efficient homes– we were in discussion with local residents to ensure the project had minimal impact upon their day to day lives

From start to finish, the project took 12 months and was delivered on time and on budget, with our client delighted at the outcome.

Features:

  • Development of a former industrial site with project challenges such as the excavation and specialist removal of petrol tanks.
  • Transformation from dilapidated former petrol station to modern row of terraced homes with Underwild Design & Development managing every phase of the project
  • Development took place within the centre of a residential area, requiring regular neighbour communication – resulting in no development complaints.
