Underwild Design and Development has won the contract to manage the complete refurbishment and development of a derelict 350 – year old cottage for a private client.

The 6-month project will see the company retain the existing traditional façade of the cottage along with many of the internal features, whilst extending the existing footprint with a series of extensions that will create a large, modern family home on the interior, packed with the latest technical features such as Lutron Lighting.

Managing Director of Underwild, Daniel Potter said: “We are delighted to have won the Rose Cottage development and are looking forward to creating a new exiting and contemporary home which will also retain many traditional features, giving us the challenge of blending the old with the new.”

“What is even more pleasing is that we won this contrac t as a result of Rose Cottage’s new owners having seen one of our previous projects in St Ives,” added Dan.
