Six months after starting work to completely refurbish and extend an almost derelict 350 year old cottage into a modern home, Underwild has handed the finished project over to its delighted owners.

In addition to retaining the original 350-year-old structure, Underwild built a series of extensions behind the façade to expand and enhance the original building, and incorporated a number of technically advanced features such as detailed wiring for a complete audio-visual multi-room entertainment system served by a central hub and Lutron mood lighting throughout.

The completed building features apex windows, conservatory with a balustrade balcony over, in addition to the total landscaping of the terraced gardens.

Underwild MD Daniel Potter said: “ The clients desire to want to create a unique living space with every conceivable modern living feature meant every element of the build and development process had to be undertaken to the highest possible standards. We are delighted to have not only completed the six month development on time and on budget as well as to the clients’ absolute satisfaction.”

The completed project is the latest in  series of residential transformations that Underwild has been instructed on.
